(Before It's News)

Chris Day is running for Congress in New York. He ran in 2014 and actually did pretty well despite no money and little support. He’s going up against Democrat who has been in office since 1989.

Following the Chattanooga, Tennessee terror attack, Day has a proposal to keep service men and women better armed. The proposal, in his words, calls for “active duty military personnel who have completed initial entry training, as well as all honorably discharged and retired veterans, receive the same nationally reciprocated ability to carry a concealed weapon as was extended to active and retired law enforcement in 2004 under President Bush, and later extended to active military police under President Obama.”

Day is an Army Ranger, Paratrooper, veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, and recipient of the Combat Infantryman’s Badge and Bronze Star, and could use some support in his bid against Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY) 16%.
