Well, he’s gone and done it, Vice President Joe R. Biden, that is– He’s ready to announce that he will become a candidate for President in 2016, on the Democratic ticket.

 

Biden is such a smooth operator, such a warm politician in the eyes of a majority of Democrats, that many pundits believe that as Biden throws his hat into the ring, Hillary Clinton may throw in the towel, at the same time.

With the apparent arrival of Vice President Biden into the candidacy, the Democratic Party nominating process should open up the current vacuum of dialogue between the American public and Mrs. Clinton, and give the party faithful a real choice going forward.

 

Biden’s inclusion now would allow him the right to be among the candidates in the first Democratic debate, currently scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 13, 2015 (though there is much speculation that more party debates may be added, due to popular insistance).
