Carly Fiorina…lies in support of the truth?
Let me begin by saying I do not believe in late term abortions at all. I have children and I could never abort one that was mine. That said, some of the research being conducted using abort fetuses is important and is saving lives. Some of it is not and should be stopped. I believe an external review board should review and decide what is acceptable research in regard to any humans or human parts. I do not believe profits should be made from any of this. I believe a woman has a right to decide up to a certain point. If the child can survive outside the womb, it’s a person…clear and simple. If not, then it’s still a part of her own body.
Now on Carly Fiorina…
I lost all respect for her during the debate last night. What she described that she saw, was not from videos of Planned Parenthood stings. What she saw may have been real…may have been some other video of an abortion, but IT WAS NOT FROM THE PP VIDEOS that have been released.
Did she lie? No, probably just saw something gruesome from another source and thought it was a PP video and just decided to run with it. But it was not.
So am I upset and disturbed because she made an error or misrepresented the facts? Yes. I hear “weapons of mass destruction” being uttered in the background as I watch the clips of her talking about this.
If this woman can stand in front of our nation and speak so deliberately and so intently and with such fervor and dare I say it…religious zeal…and not even have her facts right…what kind of a nightmare president would this woman make?
I’m not scared of this woman for bashing PP. They should be bashed on. No doubt there. Possibly even defunded on the federal level. I’m not disturbed that she’s standing up against fetal experimentation or late term abortions. I AM freaked out by how blatantly she misrepresented and indeed, all but testified, to have seen something that does not exist. It’s just plain scary.
Does she owe PP an apology? I don’t know. That’s sort of like peeving the devil off…he’s still the devil and may have had it coming. So apology probably not. But does she need to step up and admit that she lied or saw a video not connected to PP? Yes. Hell yes.
And was anybody paying attention to what Trump called her out on in regards to her work at HP? She got fired! She led HP into the dumper. She signed off on laying thousands of people off because of mistakes made by management. And she’s got the gall to stand up and preach to the American people that she’s the person we need to hand the football to? Again…scary.
There’s an old saying that anyone so arrogant and sure of themselves should be feared, because only a crazy person thinks they can’t be wrong on something. In simpler terms, normal people always second guess themselves…try to tread lightly and realize that no matter how much they know or prepare, they could still be wrong and mistaken. So when somebody is this flatly and undeniably assured of themselves, [and you can see it in her eyes]…you should fear them.
Trump…is bluster. He pretends to be arrogant and self assured, but watch his expressions during the debate…he shows shock…disbelief…shock some more and every emotion throughout the spectrum. He puts on a front as most politicians do. He will stumble though…he will blink and stutter.
