Lone Wolf Distributors
Lone Wolf Distributors manufactures barrels, recoil springs, compensators, Glock frames, slides, etc for Glocks. They not only offer their own brand parts but also other well known brands like ISM, Glock OEM and Lightning Strike. They carry just about everything for Glocks.

Lone Wolf Distributors has a “real time” inventory system on their website that displays current inventory of any product. So you know exactly what is in stock. I love that! They also have an online chat feature so you can ask questions before ordering. Now that’s customer service!

Lone Wolf barrels are manufactured by Dasan Machineries Co. LTD. The Dasan headquarters is located in South Korea but a new facility has opened in Duluth, Georgia, U.S.A. Dasan is a huge barrel manufacturer for many big brand names and has been in operation for over 20 years. They are well known for high quality and low prices.

Lone Wolf G31 .357 Sig Barrel
The Lone Wolf G31 barrel is made from mill select 416R stainless steel on high tech CNC machines. Every LWD (Lone Wolf Distributors) barrel is heat treated to ensure proper strength and durability. The lockup area is slightly larger than an OEM Glock barrel to provide better accuracy without sacrificing reliability. The feed ramp and bore are polished to remove any tooling marks or burrs. This increases reliability and accuracy. The exterior of the stainless steel barrel is diamond polished and looks awesome. The rifling is broach cut which allows any type bullet to be used such as cast, jacketed or plated. All LWD barrels have a target crown that is well done and attributes to excellent accuracy. A lifetime warranty is standard on all LWD barrels.

The G31 barrel is a drop in replacement part which means NO gunsmithing required. You just field strip your G22 or G31 and replace the OEM barrel with the LWD barrel and re-assemble. It actually is that simple. The G22 magazine will feed either 40 S&W or 357 Sig ammo.

After I bought my Glock 22, I wanted to also get a Glock 31 in .357 Sig but they were hard to find. The .357 Sig is a hot round that offers higher velocities over the 40 S&W. The .357 Sig fires a 124 grain bullet at 1,400 fps. When I read about G31 conversion barrels for Glocks, I looked at Lone Wolf Distributors barrels. With the G31 barrel, I have 2 Glocks in one. I can swap barrels to shoot either the 40 S&W or 357 Sig. After reading that it’s a drop in part (no gunsmithing), I was sold. I bought one for $90. What a bargain!

The LWD G31 barrel is a real beauty inside and out. A close visual inspection denotes a well made, precision product with no burrs, scratches or any type of defect. The rifling looks sharp and deep. So how does it fit in the Glock 22? It drops right in. The stainless steel barrel contrasts nicely with the black Glock finish. The barrel finish is non-glare stainless while the lockup area or breech is matte bead blasted which is a nice bonus. There is a Wolf logo on top of the breech area which I could do without.

LWD G31 at the Range
So how does it shoot? 100% reliable and more accurate than I can shoot. No surprises here. I put 200 rounds through the LWD G31 barrel without a hitch.

Conclusion
The Lone Wolf Distributors Glock 31 barrel is a precision made barrel at a very affordable price. It enables the Glock 22 to shoot 357 Sig ammo without any gunsmithing work. It give you two guns in one. The fit and finish are excellent. You can also shoot cast lead ammo whereas the OEM Glock barrels cannot.

The LWD logo engraved on the barrel is a bit tacky.
