#WMATA Metro passengers stop a kidnapping in DC
Back in July, DC Metro riders did nothing as a man was murdered on the train. My reaction was that this is what happens when you disarm the honest population: armed criminals have their way.
Fortunately this morning, an unarmed criminal was stopped attempting to kidnap a baby.
As usual these days, it’s all on Twitter:

Woman attempted to snatch the baby before arriving at FB. People tackled her, got the baby back, waited for police at the stop. @wmata

What? Are you looking for some deep political point here, or some grander policy scheme for me to pull out of this? It’s just some good news I thought I’d share. We’re allowed that, right?
