Hamas spokesman Moshir al-Masri said Palestinians must employ every weapon they have from stone to knives for that end. Addressing a rally in the Gaza Strip, he condemned Israel’s killing of unarmed Palestinian protesters. Masri said their blood will be fuel for the new al-Aqsa Intifada. Hamas spokesman called for unity among all Palestinians in the face of Tel Aviv’s aggression. He said Palestinians will defend the al-Aqsa Mosque from Israeli forces and settler attacks.

Tensions are soaring between Palestinians and Israelis amid deadly protests, attacks and clashes. Israeli forces have killed at least eight Palestinians on Friday; two in the occupied West Bank and six others in the besieged Gaza Strip. Over a hundred and forty others were also wounded. Hamas is warning that the heightened tension is in fact an indication of a new intifada or uprising.
