Poll shows Turkey’s AK party losing popularity – YouTube
A survey shows Turkey’s ruling AK party has lost its popularity since the June elections.
The
survey was conducted among nearly 4,900 people between October the
third and fourth. The poll confirms that the AK party’s votes are below
the level needed to form a single-party government. According to the
survey, main opposition factions including the CHP and pro-Kurdish HDP
parties have gained above the 10 percent threshold needed to enter the
parliament. The poll was conducted before a bomb attack at a peace rally
in the Turkish capital Ankara, which left more than 100 people dead.
The incident is said to have further damaged the image of the Turkish
government.
