Another violent incident in Ukraine’s volatile east. Five Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in renewed fighting against pro-Russia militias.
According to a Ukrainian army official, the clashes that erupted near the city of Donetsk left four other soldiers injured. This has been the deadliest attack since September when a fragile ceasefire took effect to end fighting between Kiev and pro-Russia groups in eastern Ukraine. More than eight-thousand people have been killed in the crisis since April 20-14.
