End the Gun Epidemic in America (The New York Times) | 04 Dec 2015 | It is a moral outrage and a national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed specifically to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency. These are weapons of war, barely modified and deliberately marketed as tools of macho vigilantism and even insurrection…It is not necessary to debate the peculiar wording of the Second Amendment. No right is unlimited and immune from reasonable regulation. Certain kinds of weapons, like the slightly modified combat rifles used in California, and certain kinds of ammunition, must be outlawed for civilian ownership.

So it is clear that you are suggesting that only the “Government stooges” should be heavily armed & brutally kill people? You are so misinformed and outright ignorant I don’t know where to begin. You do realize that 99% of all of these shootings are in fact “Government sponsored” incidents conducted by “Government actors’ for a political agenda. The American people who “Legally own firearms are not killing anyone & have no association with these current government sponsored events or the poor Patsies being set up to take the blame for them. Next issue is that you are apparently incapable of reading the US Constitution (Must be that Common Core program), we have a 2nd amendment. The first thing all tyrants have done throughout history is take the guns & disarm the people so I guess we all know what kind of world you want to live in. Next point is guns don’t kill people do, I assure you that you can load a gun, lay it on a table and it will lie there all day long unless an idiot like you picks it up & does something stupid with it. there are more people killed by auto accidents, baseball bats, falling in the shower or even by food poisoning than gun violence and you damn well know it. Do I have the right to take the cars away from every safe driver in America just because your ass gets drunk & has a wreck on the way home? Don’t even think you are getting our guns, why don’t we just ban sports that would save a lot of lives & prevent injuries?
