Obama Covering Up Radical Islamic Terrorism

On Sunday, Barack Obama spoke to the nation and for the first time since 2009, he actually admitted that the Fort Hood shooting was a terror attack.
But it was just this past year that the victims of this attack were awarded purple hearts and full death benefits. For almost six years, the victims’ families suffered because the Obama administration simply refused to call it a terror attack. When a Muslim extremist shoots 45 people on a military base, Obama believes that is nothing but work place violence.
You could see the same in his refusal to rule out work place violence as an excuse for the San Bernardino terror attack last week.
We all remember the terror attack on our military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In July, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez shot up a recruiting center and then traveled to a Naval Reserve Center to continue the carnage.
Here we have an American with dual citizenship (Jordanian) who was self radicalized and driven to Jihad. He murdered 5 people in cold blood and injured two others.
Hours before the shooting, Abdulazeez texted a friend a Quranic verse that said, “Whosoever shows enmity to a friend of mine, then I have declared war against him.” Then he started killing US Servicemen.
He’s a terrorist. The shooting was terrorism. But the Obama administration refuses to classify it that way and now 5 months later, the victim’s families are suffering because of Obama’s political correctness.
This isn’t difficult. The minute that the FBI classifies the Chattanooga Shooting as a terror attack, the victims’ families will gain access to certain benefits.
Obama came close to labeling Chattanooga terrorism. He lumped the attack in with San Bernardino and Fort Hood, but his administration has still not made an official determination.
And right now, there are American families suffering because of this horrible political correctness.
It took 6 years and an act of Congress to force Obama to give the Fort Hood victims Purple Hearts. The minute those Purple Hearts were awarded, the victims and their families got access to a wide range of benefits and financial assistance. But Congress had to drag Obama kicking and screaming to force him to hand out the awards.
Now, we are seeing the same thing happen in Chattanooga. Obama is too afraid of calling the attack what it is – terrorism – and now the families are forced to suffer.
It really is simple. With a single vote, Congress could ensure that every victim’s family would receive full benefits. And it word force Obama to call these shootings what they are: Radical. Islamic. Terrorism.
Five months… that’s how long the Chattanooga victims and their families have waited for help.
Obama won’t do a thing. He’s more interested in keeping Radical Islam out of the headlines than actually helping the victims.
