Many Harney County / Burns Oregon Ranchers and residents have been intimidated and threatened. They are fearful that they will be targeted for persecution if they let their true feelings be known. The current Sheriff David Ward is an x BLM employee and many of the loudest residents calling for the Patriot Group occupying Malheur to leave have a vested interested interest with BLM and the staus quo. The Ammon Bundy group are asking for redress of grievances and justice for the Hammonds and are continuing to stand their ground.
