Better Beginnings Better Futures celebrates 25 years with 14th Annual Dinner and Silent Auction
SUDBURY, Ont. - On Friday, February 19, Better Beginnings Better Futures will celebrate its silver anniversary by hosting its 14th Annual Semi Formal Dinner and Silent Auction, with a dance to follow at the Caruso Club.
“Our 25th anniversary is very important to us,” says Carole Dodge, executive director of Better Beginnings Better Futures.
“We are hoping that everyone who has touched base with the organization over the years will help celebrate with us. All staff, community members and family members both past and present are welcome. It is a very exciting time for our organization and we have much to celebrate. Over the past 25 years we have offered services to at least 17, 500 children and their parents through a variety of programs and events.”
All proceeds from the event will go towards funding both the Pre-Teen and S.P.O.T programs. At this time, the two programs offered to the youth ages 9 – 17 in the Donovan and Flour Mill neighbourhoods are not in receipt of annualized funds and completely depend on donations and fundraised dollars to operate.
Tickets for the entire evening are priced at $75, whereas tickets for the dance portion only are available for $15. Tickets can be reserved by contacting the Better Beginnings Better Futures administrative office at 705-671-1941 or by emailing [email protected].
