Spain’s Podemos kicks off talks to form government – YouTube
Spain’s anti-austerity party Podemos has started talks with the Socialists and other leftwing factions to form a government.
Podemos chief Pablo Iglesias agreed to four-way talks between the negotiating teams of Podemos, the Socialists, and two other smaller leftist parties. On its Twitter account, Podemos announced that the negotiating team would make an attempt to form a government of change and progress. Monday negotiations come after nine weeks of political stalemate that started when no Spanish party could garner a majority in December parliamentary elections.
