The GOP Just Filed TWO Lawsuits Against Hillary Clinton
The GOP is suing Hillary Clinton in two separate lawsuits over access to her records from her time as Secretary of State. Hillary’s time at State continues to be a source of headaches and tribulation for her, and it won’t let up any time soon. Because of this crazy wacky interest Americans have in truth and transparency and, you know, looking out for Americans who are at risk overseas.
From the Wall Street Journal:
The Republican National Committee on Wednesday filed two lawsuits seeking access to Hillary Clinton’s records, potentially opening a new chapter in the ongoing legal saga over her decision to use a personal email server while secretary of state.
The first lawsuit seeks access to all text and BlackBerry messages sent and received by Mrs. Clinton during her time at the State Department. Republicans also are seeking all emails sent and received by several top aides to Mrs. Clinton, including her former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, top policy staffer Jake Sullivan, and technology consultant Bryan Pagliano.
A second case asks for any communications between State Department officials and Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign after she left office in 2013. Mrs. Clinton is the leading Democratic candidate for president.
Both lawsuits cite the Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA.
Hillary’s private email server was a problem. It is a problem. And no matter how hard she tries to laugh it off, or how many times Bernie says it’s a non-issue, or how much the MSM tries to portray it as a quixotic Republican nothing, the fact is that the intelligence and law enforcement communities take it seriously. There is a federal investigation. That is not trivial.

“I have said it wasn’t the best choice to use a personal email. It was a mistake. However, I am not alone in that. Many people in the government, past and current, have on occasion or as a practice done the same,” she said during a Fox News town hall event on Monday.
The lawsuits come as several judges on the D.C. District Court have shown a willingness to allow litigation challenging how and why the State Department permitted Mrs. Clinton to run her own email server and control access to her own records.
It’s not going away Hillary.
During her time as Secretary of State, Clinton flouted the law and broke the rules, she exposed sensitive American intel and assets to increased risk, and she subsequently has made every effort to cover it up. But now it seems there are judges who, when weighing the actual merits and without respect to spin or media narrative or the prospect of being ridiculed in Alinsky-style leftist efforts are following the law where it takes them.
And it’s taking them to a place Hillary and the Democrats should be worried about. Good on the GOP (for once) for bringing the suits.
