Uh oh. Hillary condescends to be the young people who are backing Sanders, suggesting they are just letting their exuberance get the best of their brains. Bad idea.
“I think it’s exciting to be, in effect, protesting,” Hillary said of Bernie’s youthful backers. “I totally get the attraction of this.”
But don’t all Democrats ultimately condescend to their supporters, thinking they can’t possibly survive without all their beneficence?
