Russia ready for unilateral action against terrorists

Russia Proposes U.S. Cooperate In Fighting Terrorists In Syria

Moscow Proposes Joint US/Russian Coalition Against Terrorists Washington Supports

Give Moscow credit for trying – its proposal another offer America will either refuse or undermine if accepts.

Why would Washington bomb terrorists it invested so much into recruiting, arming, funding, training and directing – wanting endless war continued to depose Assad, polar opposite Russia’s all-out efforts for diplomatic conflict resolution.

Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said US/Russian joint operations against terrorists in Syria would enhance prospects for peace. He suggested beginning them on May 25 against ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups not supporting ceasefire – as well as on convoys carrying arms and munitions to terrorist fighters from Turkey.

Beginning on May 25, Russia “reserve(s) the right to conduct unilateral strikes…on…international terrorist organizations and illegal armed units” not agreeing to ceasefire.

In late March, Moscow warned Washington of its intention to unilaterally strike armed groups continuing to wage war on Syria and its people.

Daily violations continue in northern Syria, suburban Damascus and other areas. Washington supports terrorists involved in furthering conflict.

Endless war continues to replace Assad with pro-Western puppet governance. He blames US-led Western hegemony allied with regional rogue states in raping Syria for over five years.

Conflict resolution is likely years away at best. A permanent made-in-the USA state of war now exists.

Syrian Army, Allies Ready to Join Large-Scale Operations to Liberate Raqqa

Informed sources announced on Saturday that the Syrian Army, popular forces and Russian and Syrian warplanes are ready to storm the ISIL positions in Raqqa from Aleppo and Hama provinces.

“The Syrian military forces and popular fighters deployed in the Eastern territories of Aleppo province and the Northeastern part of Hama province mainly in Ithriya are ready to launch their joint operation against the ISIL terrorists in the capital of the self-proclaimed Caliphate,” the sources said.

“The Syrian and Russian Air Forces are to carry out a large number of combat flights over the ISIL centers in Raqqa to weaken the group’s defense abilities and pave the ground for the easier advances of the ground forces in the battlefield,” they added.

“The Syrian government forces have been coordinating the process of such large-scale operations in the last two months and they could carry out the operations earlier but the attacks of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham on the government forces’ positions in parts of Hama, Homs and Aleppo delayed the operations,” the sources underlined.

Reports said earlier today that the Syrian Democratic Forces are preparing to launch a large-scale operations in coming hours to end the ISIL terrorists’ rule over the Northeastern province of Raqqa.

“The Syrian Democratic Forces that are mainly comprised of Kurdish fighters are ready to storm the ISIL terrorists’ positions in the capital of self-proclaimed Caliphate,” the sources said.

“In the meantime, the US warplanes dropped leaflets over the city of Raqqa on Thursday and demanded civilians to leave the city as soon as possible,” they added.

More reports said earlier today that ISIL terrorists have forbidden Raqqa residents from leaving the militants’ self-declared capital in Syria and have started evacuating their own families.

ISIL has forbidden Raqqa residents from leaving the militants’ self-declared capital in Syria and have started evacuating their own families in the direction of Deir Ezzur, eye witnesses and local sources said.

The families of foreign mercenaries were the first ones to leave the city on Friday afternoon. Inmates have also been let free from Raqqa prisons.

Meanwhile Kurdish forces have established a stronghold about 37 kilometers North of Raqqa.Fighting grinds on around Aleppo

Iraqi Volunteer Forces Lay Siege on Fallujah

Iraqi volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) Spokesman Karim al-Nouri disclosed that the massive military operation to win back Fallujah in Anbar province in Western Iraq is very near, adding that they have already laid siege on the city in Anbar province from different directions.

“The Hashd al-Shaabi forces have besieged the terrorists in Fallujah city from four directions,” al-Nouri told FNA on Friday. He, meantime, reiterated that supporters of the ISIL terrorist group have been spreading the lie that the Iraqi volunteer forces have not taken part in the military operations to seize back Fallujah, “but the whole operation is under Hashd al-Shaabi’s command”. On Tuesday, Seyed Hashem al-Moussavi, the spokesman of Hezbollah al-Nujaba, a major Iraqi Shiite resistance movement fighting the ISIL, voiced his forces’ readiness to seize back the city of Fallujah and defeat the ISIL terrorist group there. “The terrorist groups who have turned Fallujah into Qandahar will see the outcome of their crimes in the battlefield,” al-Moussavi told reporters.

He said Fallujah in Iraq is similar to Raqqa in Syria, and reiterated, “We will surely enter Fallujah and this trend is irreversible.” On Friday, a senior Iraqi tribal leader underlined that the ISIL has been badly weakened in Anbar province in Western Iraq, and the Takfiri terrorists’ leaders are fleeing towards Turkish borders. “The artillery and missile attacks of the Iraqi army on ISIL’s military positions have forced the terrorists and their leaders to escape to the country’s borders with Turkey,” Al-Anbar tribal leader Sheikh Hamid al-Hayes told FNA. He reiterated that the Iraqi joint forces continue their mop-up operations in Anbar province. Sheikh al-Hayes said that the fugitive ISIL commanders have also taken their families to Turkey.
