Donald Trump’s African American Ran for Congress Last Night. Here’s How he Did.
Gregory Cheadle got some unexpected attention last week when Donald Trump called him “my African American” during a rally. He told reporters he didn’t mind it, and was not offended because Trump “had been speaking positively about black people prior to that statement.”
Cheadle was also a California Republican Congressional candidate in the 1st Congressional district looking to oust incumbent Doug LaMalfa (R). Here are his results:

Looks like Cheadle’s district may not have been too impressed by his newfound camaraderie with “Uncle Donald.” I guess there is such a thing as bad publicity.
