Umm Hanadi (Mother of Hanadi) joined the Popular Mobilization Units during the operation to liberate her home city of Tikrit. After the successful liberation of Tikrit and the subsequent return of 95% of it’s large population she wanted to continue the fight against ISIS and was promoted for her sound leadership in the battles during Tikrit operations.
She leads a special taskforce established based on her resounding skills in Tikrit to catch ISIS cells and destroy them well before they are able to establish themselves in Tikrit. Due to the nature of the missions the regiment she leads has been allocated resources dedicated to special forces allowing them to conduct a wide range of operations both during the day and at night in far off areas even in rural villages that ISIS attempts to infiltrate and hold. The quick reaction, hard force and co-ordination of Umm Hanabi’s units has given them a strong reputation for their ability to conduct special missions within ISIS territories. Now she is going to Anbar province to liberate Fallujah from ISIS.
