The Turkish air force hit several positions of the rebels of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Northern Iraq.

A sum of 11 military positions of the PKK were destroyed in the Turkish fighter jets’ raids on Saturday.

Earlier on Saturday, the Turkish fighter jets pounded the hideouts and arms depots of the PKK in Kharkouk region.

This comes after human rights organizations and the United Nations have expressed serious concern over the actions of the Turkish Armed Forces in their ongoing fight against the PKK, specially the curfews and sieges they leveled against urban areas where the PKK were believed to have had a presence.

Scores of civilians have been killed in clashes between the military and the PKK since last July.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan estimated that the Turkish state has managed to kill 7,500 PKK members since the resumption of hostilities, with a loss of 500 troops and security forces.

Iraq’s joint military forces managed to seize back a strategic region in the city of Fallujah from the ISIL Takfiri terrorists.

The Iraqi joint forces took back Hay al-Moalemin region from the ISIL on Saturday.

Tens of ISIL terrorists were killed in fierce clashes with the Iraqi government troops in the battle over Hay al-Moalemin region of Fallujah city.

Meantime, the Iraqi Federal Police Command Headquarters announced that the Iraqi forces have entered Hay Julan region in Fallujah city on Saturday.

The Iraqi forces have successfully accomplished their mop-up operations in almost 90 percent of Fallujah city.

Last Friday, Iraq’s Police Chief declared full liberation of Fallujah after the two-year-long ISIL control over the strategic city.

Commander of Iraq’s Federal Police Major General Raed Shaker Judat appeared on the country’s national TV in an interview carried out at the center of Fallujah, declaring that the city has been completely purged of ISIL terrorists.

Meantime, Fallujah Liberation Operation Commander Abdol-Wahhab Saedi told the state-run TV that his forces are in control of the entire city and state buildings.

The victory by the Iraqi forces came as they continued their clashes with ISIL militants in Iraq’s Western province of Anbar.

Syria in Last 24 hours: Army Destroys Militants’ Concentration Centers, Kills Dozens of Terrorists in Aleppo Province

The Syrian army pounded the military positions and gathering centers of the Takfiri terrorists in Aleppo province, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Scores of Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in tough battle with the Syrian government forces.

The army units also continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Damascus and Deir Ezzur, over past 24 hours.

Aleppo

The Syrian Army troops engaged in heavy fighting with Liwa al-Sultan Morad terrorist group in Northern Aleppo, and them down behind their strongholds after inflicting major losses on the militants.

“The Syrian military forces struck gatherings and concentration centers of Liwa al-Sultan Morad near Handarat camp, which ended in the killing and wounding of several of the militants and slowed down their military movements in the region,” the sources said, adding, “The terrorist group’s military hardware also sustained serious damage in the attacks.”

Reports said earlier on Friday that the Syrian Air Force, in fresh round of combat flights, targeted ISIL’s strongholds in the Eastern and Northeastern territories of Aleppo province, inflicting major losses on the militants.

The Syrian fighter jets struck the ISIL positions in Deir Hafer plains and al-Bab plateau near the villages of al-Bab, ‘Aran, Rasm al-‘Alam, Madiyonah, ‘Ayn Al-Jahish, and Um al-Hosh, which ended in the killing or wounding of several ISIL terrorists.

The ISIL fighters and their terrorist rivals from the Free Syria Army (FSA) have intensified attacks on each others’ positions in Northern Aleppo near the border with Turkey, leaving scores of militants dead or wounded from both sides, informed sources said.

“The ISIL terrorists stormed the FSA strongholds near the town of al-Rai and hit them hard by their bomb-laden suicide vehicles which claimed the lives of several FSA militants,” the sources said.

In the meantime, opposition sources announced that the FSA has gained upper hand against the ISIL in most of al-Rai districts.

Hama

Syrian military sources announced that the Army troops, tipped off by intelligence agents, disbanded a terrorist group carrying large volume of arms and ammunition heading towards Northern Hama.

“The five-members group of terrorists, carrying two thermal rockets, automatic rifles, grenades, RPG rounds and ammunition for PKC and 23 mm machineguns in their car, were driving on a road towards militant-held regions in Northern Hama,” the sources said, adding, “The Syrian soldiers stormed the group near the town of Masyaf, which ended in the killing of one the militants and arrest of the rest of them.”

Damascus

Syrian Army troops and Lebanese Hezbollah fighters beat the militant groups back in Western Ghouta and took full control over 25 large farms in the region.

The Syrian pro-government forces pushed the terrorist groups back from over 25 farms in the strategic town of Darayya, as they continued their large-scale push to seize the area.

This latest advance by the Syrian Armed Forces comes just one week after the terrorists of Ajnad al-Sham launched a failed offensive to recover their territory inside the town.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army troops struck ISIL’s positions near al-Thardah mountain near Deir Ezzur military airport and forced the terrorist group to retreat from the strategic mountainous region.

The Syrian army men and their popular allies hit the ISIL positions badly near al-Thardah mountain and imposed full control over the region.

The Syrian Arab Army’s 137th Brigade launched an attack on the Takfiri terrorists to cleanse al-Thardah and beat the remaining pockets of terrorist back from the battlefield.

Al-Thardah enjoys strategic importance due to its proximity and overlooking the Deir Ezzur Military Airport.

Raqqa

The Syrian warplanes continued to bomb ISIL’s military machine in Western Raqqa, slowing down the Takfiri terrorists’ logistical movements in the battlefields.

The ISIL defense lines in the Southern side of al-Tabaqa were heavily bombed by the Syrian fighter jets.

The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll and its military hardware, including a large number of trucks and machinegun-equipped vehicles, sustained major damage in the air attacks.
