Evergreen Story: Trump Goes Absolutely Insane
In the last 36 hours, Republicans have been tossed softball after softball, but their nominee has missed every ball and instead has slammed himself in the face with the bat. Repeatedly. Almost like it is his job.
Things continue to get worse every time Trump opens his mouth. Trump has continued his praise of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, reminded us all of his anti-Semitic Star of David tweet, and has conveniently ignored Hillary Clinton.
If this were any other candidate, they would simply get on stage and say “Hillary Clinton is a liar, she is a criminal, and the Obama administration is proud to support that culture of lawlessness”.
Instead, this is what we got (thank you to Ben Jacobs of The Guardian and others for live-tweeting his speech tonight so I could give my brain cells a break):

If you choose to support Trump, that is absolutely your prerogative, but he has proved tonight (and pretty much every night) that he is absolutely and certifiably insane.
