Rush Limbaugh Shreds Last Bits of Dignity to Idolize Trump and Trash Ted Cruz
If you want to know how a raging, barely coherent, lifelong Manhattan liberal became the new face of the GOP, look at traitorous talking heads like Rush Limbaugh.
After last night’s funeral for the Republican party, not only did Limbaugh take his quivering adoration to the airwaves, but he helped launch the coordinated attacks against Senator Ted Cruz, making excuses for some of the more despicable claims of Lord Trump during the primary race.
Donald Trump is an “alpha male” in the battle against Sen. Ted Cruz, Rush Limbaugh said on Friday, adding that he was not sure how to describe Cruz.
I believe “conservative” is the word you’re searching for, you pathetic bootlick.
Trump pointed out that a group associated with Cruz had also attacked Trump’s wife, and he argued that a statement about Cruz’s father was valid. “All I did was point out the fact that on the cover of the National Enquirer, there was a picture of him and crazy Lee Harvey Oswald having breakfast. Ted never denied that it was his father. Instead he said … I had nothing to do with it.”
“You know what just happened here? This is alpha male versus I don’t know what,” Limbaugh said on his radio program. “The only reason Trump went here” again, Limbaugh said, was “because Cruz went to the Texas delegation and let it be known that his pique … is over the way Trump talked about his wife and his father.
“So what did Trump do? [He] triples down, finds out where you’re vulnerable and comes right back at you with a sharp knife. This is [an] alpha male,” Limbaugh added.
No, this is a pathetic, insecure, corrupt liberal and reality TV scumbag, with no sense of decorum and no firm platform to debate issues from.
Limbaugh isn’t even trying to hold to principle. As we saw during the Cleveland convention, there is no honor left within the Republican party apparatus. There are few to no real conservative pundits, as most of those who were once thought reliably conservative have abandoned it all at the Altar of Cheeto.
As stories of Fox News’ internal upset and an unsteady future seeps out through social media, it would seem there possibly is some form of cosmic justice settling in. Let’s hope Limbaugh reaps it in equal portion.
His participation in building up an unqualified, possibly deranged authoritarian, while helping to attack a true conservative is dangerous and he needs to see consequences for his treason.
