‘Uncertain’ Trump? Nah. He Just Wants to Have His Pence and Hate Him, Too

There are two possibilities for the reason that we hear in the news that Donald Trump was up late agonizing over the selection of Gov. Mike Pence as his VP and on the phone looking for “a way out.”
The first, outlined here by streiff, is that his campaign is bumblefudge and his incompetent leadership has led to a place where he’s getting boxed into corners by his staff. Erick Erickson has more on that theory here, as well.
