Here’s Hillary, trying to turn Donald Trump’s depiction of the grievous problems facing black America into racism. Trump is hateful, she suggests, because he fails to focus on the success stories of African Americans.
I think she is playing this wrong. Sure, there are great success stories. But not nearly enough of them. And black people know who is right and who is wrong here.
She’s pandering. I don’t think it will work. At least it won’t work with everyone, and those are the African Americans who may give Trump and the Republicans a chance.
