Syrian army soldiers beat a number of ISIL terrorists back from their positions in Homs after hours of non-stop clashes, inflicting also major losses on them.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in Syria’s key provinces.

Local sources said the general military commander of Jeish Al-Mujahideen terror group, Yousef Za’ou’a, was killed during the joint operation of the Syrian Army and its allies to liberate the Western districts of Aleppo still under the grips of terrorist groups.

Many notorious commanders of militant groups have been killed in the battlefields of Aleppo, and the complete aspects of such a massive purge are yet to be seen.

Several sources in the battlefields say the coming days are very likely to shape the trajectory of the Syrian conflict for the remainder of the war.

Deir Ezzur

The attacks also killed 17 members of the ISIL terrorist group in Deir Ezzur.

The operations also led to the establishment of security in Salima town and preempt the terrorists’ attacks on army positions in the region.

The Syrian military forces pushed terrorists back from 4 key regions in Darayya, Western Ghouta, killing scores of militants during the operations.

“Following the massive attacks on terrorists’ positions in Darayya in Damascus province, the army could advance and control several points, supported by the Syrian and Russian warplanes,” a field source said on Thursday.

After the Syrian forces approached the administrative borders of Idlib province and Turkey, hundreds of Jeish al-Fatah and Turkistani terrorists launched heavy attacks against their positions and attempted to reoccupy the liberated areas from Kinsibba town to al-Qala’h mountain by extending the clashes.
