Long Convoys of Terrorists’ Vehicles Demolished by Russian Bombers in Idlib
Russian fighter jets traced and targeted two long columns of the terrorist groups’ vehicles in Southern Idlib, inflicting major damage on the convoys.
The Russian warplanes hit the militant convoys on a road connecting Idlib to Maarat al-Nu’aman, destroying most of the vehicles.
Terrorist groups’ machinegun-equipped vehicles also came under heavy bombardments of the Russian jets near the village of Zardaneh, which also inflicted heavy losses on the militants.
In relevant developments on Thursday, the Syrian fighter jets pounded terrorists’ convoys, consisting of several vehicles, equipped with machineguns, both in the adjacent provinces of Idlib and Aleppo.
“The Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, in the area surrounding Zardana village in Idlib,” the source said.
“Three convoys of militants’ vehicles were also smashed in Western Aleppo,” he added.
The military source said that tens of terrorists were killed and wounded in the airstrikes and their weapons and vehicles were fully destroyed.

Hosting Russian jets, part of cooperation on Syria
Iran’s defense minister says the hosting of Russian military airplanes in an airbase west of the country is part of mutual cooperation to target terrorists operating in Syria.
Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan says Russian airstrikes against terror groups are being carried out at the request of the Syrian government. Dehqan added that Tehran and Moscow share common goals in Syria and that the two countries will continue their military cooperation until their goals are attained. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, long range bombers and strike bombers took off from the Hamadan Nojeh Airfield for the first time on Tuesday to conduct air raids in northern Syria.
