Kansas State Students Expelled For Snapchat Post
A couple of female students at Kansas State University took a photo of themselves wearing what looks to be some sort of mud mask facial treatment. They posted the photo to Snapchat with the caption “Feels good to finally be a nigga,” and sent a nationwide wave of apoplexy through the special snowflake community.
One Kansas State student expressed this ridiculous overreaction:
“In this era, why do we need to keep educating people on a university that’s diverse,” Kansas State University Student, Lani Sandoval asked. “Do you know what I mean? There’s no reason to keep educating people and for her to actually post a picture like that.”
Sandoval says the Snapchat was like “a bullet to the heart.”
No. It is exactly not like a bullet to the heart. A bullet to the heart leaves you dead. A Snapchat you find offensive leaves you offended, but only for as long as you choose to be offended.
“I just feel like we’re being set back 150 years,” Kansas State University student, Abbey St. Clair said.
If there’s anything setting us back 150 years, it’s giving children the power to completely upend the lives of other people who have done nothing but say something the children find emotionally troubling.
“There are a lot of steps in which they could have stopped what they were doing,” said Zach St. Clair.
Granted, poor decisions were made here. Posting that caption was stupid, but speaking as a former college student, college students are stupid. Most are just children living without adult supervision. They don’t routinely make wise choices.
We could rehash the double, triple, and quadruple standards that randomly get applied to using the sort of slang used in the photo caption but that is really beside the point. The point is that someone’s life has been ruined because they made a tasteless joke other people didn’t find funny.
Kansas State is just the latest institute of alleged higher education to punish thought or speech in the name of diversity.

So what if she posted a picture like that…get over it….so what. Some of the greatest talents in the vaudeville era performed in blackface. The St Clair name is an lluminati name….far more concerned about the name than some silly girls being silly.
