Syria: Terrorists Use Chemical Weapons in Western Districts of Aleppo City
Jeish al-Fatah coalition of terrorist groups launched chemical attack on residential areas under the control of the government troops in Aleppo city, inflicting casualties on the civilian population in the region, medical sources reported minutes ago.
“Jeish al-Fatah has fired chemically armed shells at government positions and residential areas in the Assad Military-Engineering Academy and 3,000-unit Housing Complex near the academy in Southwestern Aleppo city three times in the last several hours, leaving at least a civilian dead and 36 more vitally wounded,” the sources said.
“Heavy attacks of the militants have blocked ways to transfer the poisoned and injured civilians to medical centers,” they added.
“Based on evidence and the symptoms reported about the affected population, Jeish al-Fatah has used Chlorine in its chemical attacks this morning,” the media sources underlined.
Late in September, the Russian Defense Ministry said that it had received information that terrorists were planning chemical attacks against the Syrian army and residential areas in Aleppo.
“It became known that terrorist groups are preparing provocative attacks by chemical weapons on Syrian army’s positions and residential areas in the East part of Aleppo to accuse government forces of the attacks,” said Lt. Gen. Viktor Poznikhir, the first deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff.
The cessation of hostilities in Syria was undermined by militant groups that increased their activities, he added.

Euphrates Rage Operations: SDF Advances 19km in Raqqa
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces advanced over 19 kilometers toward ISIL’s main stronghold city of Raqqa and seized control of 2 more villages and 5 farms on the 6th day of the ‘Euphrates Rage’ operation to retake the terrorists’ self-proclaimed capital in Northeastern Syria, military sources said.
“After heavy clashes with the ISIL terrorists, the Kurdish forces could capture two villages and five farms in Ain Isa region and advanced 5km in depth to reach Balikh creek,” the sources said on Thursday.
“Also in areas near Salouk, the SDF forces moved from al-Heyyavi village towards Khaniz village and purged 14sq/km of territories between the two villages of terrorists after blowing up ISIL’s bomb-laden cars and clashes with the militants,” they added.
The Kurdish forces also repelled the ISIL terrorists’ heavy offensive on al-Abid village, according to the sources.
Sources said on Wednesday that the Kurdish forces drove ISIL militants out of Abdullah, al-Attiyeh, Jalil, al-Qadriyeh and Abdel Hadi villages, Southeast of Ain Isa and captured Al-Majid village and several nearby farms in Eastern Ain Isa after fierce clashes.
The Kurdish forces also made new advances in al-Qantari front and managed to win control over al-Heyyavi village in the same region, moving forward 10km towards West. Since the start of the Raqqa operation, the Kurdish fighters have made a headway of 25km deep into the areas formerly overrun by the terrorists in al-Qantari front.
The advances by the Kurdish forces were made as reports said earlier on Wednesday that an airstrike by the US-led coalition killed at least 23 people, including a child, in a town near the city of Raqqa in Northeastern Syria.
The strike targeted the village of al-Heesha, about 40 kilometers North of Raqqa.
Raqqa, on the Northern bank of the Euphrates River, was overrun by the ISIL terrorists in March 2013 and was proclaimed the terrorist group’s so-called headquarters the following year.
