Sir,
Exercise of the military option against the Islamic State—as well as the adoption of rigorous criminal justice policies and procedures for the purpose of preventing and punishing future acts of Islamic terrorism—should be considered as a manifestation of merely the First Phase of the War of the Sons of Light against Islamic terrorism; the Second and Third Phases of that war consisting of the destruction of Islamic terrorist ideology.
Thus, while Russia, Syria, Hezbollah, Iraq and Iran may very well militarily wipe the Islamic State off the face of the earth prior to your inauguration, Islamic terrorism will still constitute a clear and present danger to human civilization precisely to the extent that Islamic terrorist ideology remains unscathed; those consequences to be suffered by our children, grand children and great grand children long after we are gone.
My advice, then, to any future Director of Counter-Terrorism in the United States:
Leave up to the Pentagon and the Department of Justice the military and criminal justice aspects of the war against Islamic terrorism; and, instead, focus exclusively on an information war against the ‘god of the dead’ doctrines of ‘moderate’ Islamic metaphysical theology, which are the origin of Islamic terrorist ideology in the first place (as stated in the Quran: “Allah will hurl Truth at falsehood until only Truth reigns supreme.”); a strategy which will require the enlistment of both the mainstream and the ‘alternative’ media.
And, while the support of the ‘alternative’ media was crucial to your victory in the recent election, it is precisely that same media which, because of its censorship of the Truth, is no less responsible than is the mainstream media for the ongoing preservation of Islamic terrorist ideology.
And, unless this issue is directly and forcefully addressed, this long-term strategy against Islamic terrorism will be no more successful than the current administration’s obvious lack of any strategy at all.
