(Before It's News)

If you’re currently in the street caterwauling about the unfairness of this electoral college thing you just heard of, Donald Trump’s plan to reinstitute slavery, or Mike Pence’s scheme to force all gay people into conversion therapy, you’ll probably think this stunt by actress Lena Dunham is very clever.

Dunham posted a video of herself to Instagram, in which she calls Speaker of the House Paul Ryan to complain about Donald Trump’s appointment of Steve Bannon as his official Grima Wormtongue. The “Girls” actress expressed her reservations “as a woman and a Jew” about Trump appointing an “anti-semitic white supremacist” like Bannon.

Someone should inform Dunham that the Speaker really has no say over Presidential appointments. There is also that little matter of Steve Bannon declaring Paul Ryan to be “the enemy” and setting a goal for the Breitbart site of making sure Paul Ryan is “gone” by spring. Maybe Dunham isn’t really the one who should feel threatened.
