Who Is the Best Candidate to Be President of the USA–Trump or Hillary?
It’s been a wild year and a half in which the most personal and largely nasty campaign for the president of the United States has been going on. We started out with 17 candidates for Republican and about 5 candidates for the Democratic party. We’re now down to two candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald J. Trump with just a few days left in the campaign. Who is the better candidate to be elected president of the US on November 8, 2016–Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?
Donald J. Trump has not passed the maturity test, yet to be President. He still has a lot of growing up to do. If you observe him closely you can see how he pouts like a baby when things aren’t going the way he’d like them to. He doesn’t ever listen to his advisers but goes on in his own way like a bull, would, if left alone in a china shop. What’s worse he doesn’t think he needs anyone to advise him, why? Because he knows it all! Ego ego ego!
“I’ll do it my way, thank you,” is the mindset he stubbornly latches onto. This is how the man loses points for himself as he attempts to run for president. Can you imagine what it would be like listening to him give speeches on behalf of America? A public speaker he is not! It would be difficult to find a match for our president, Barack Obama, who has proven himself to be a marvelous orator.
As Trump debates one-on-one with Hillary one can easily detect the spitefulness that Donald Trump has for the opposite sex.
Hillary Clinton would be the first woman president and this is a good thing. It will bring equalization of female gender into place. A great step forward for all womankind which has been wanting and sorely missing in the USA. Hillary is pledging within herself to be the best president ever so it stands to reason to give her that opportunity. Hilary loves having her way as well, but is always open to listening and receiving from those she respects and admires. To her credit she believes in prayer for the good of the country and other countries as well.
Having had to stand beside Mr. Trump and listen to his tirades during the three debates has been the most trying contention of her life.
Unlike Trump who says he’s going to build a wall between the US and Mexico (and make Mexico pay for it!), Hillary would create more unity in the nation which this Country is based on. Our Founding Fathers built into the Constitution the right of all people regardless of race or religion to be able to pursue a life of happiness. Hillary has taken on as her mission to end racial and economic inequality.
As part of a speech she gave last July at the Old State House in Springfield, Ill., where Abraham Lincoln delivered an historic speech about national division nearly 160 years ago, she called on the Nation to unify.
She made it clear that the problems of the nation of today do not approach those of Lincoln’s time. But recent events of gun violence and mass shootings have left people across America very concerned about the racial divisions facing our Nation.
There is too much violence and hate in our country. Too little trust and common ground. It can feel impossible to have the conversations we need to have to fix what is broken. And despite being the richest country on earth, we have too much economic inequality. And that also undermines the foundation of our democracy.1
Is part of Hillary’s mission of presidency the policies she would work towards include
ending racial inequality
”end-to-end” criminal justice reform
more support for African-American homeowners
and a $20 billion spending plan aimed “specifically at creating jobs for young people” in minority communities.2
Trump has also called for an out-right ban on Muslims from entering the Country, hardly in-step with the Founding Fathers idea of “equality for all people.”
While Trump has said women who seek abortion should be put in jail, Clinton has said in the debates that abortion is something to leave up to a woman’s right to choose. Sometimes a woman is faced with a life-threatening injury in child birth. Their doctors and mothers about to give birth are sometimes faced with the choice –Either save the mother or save the baby.
It is hard enough for a woman to be put in the position of making this tough life-threatening decision than to add to it the burden of being branded as a criminal which is something Trump’s policies would end up doing. Clinton, in effect, is saying let the tough decision of having an abortion up to the mother. What mother wants to be in the position of having to decide to abort their baby anyway?
Trump wants to repeal and replace Obamacare with universal health care. While Clinton wants to keep and improve the Affordable Care Act. She also wants to make Medicare eligible to people 55 and over. Currently you have to be 65 and over for Medicare. Who do you think is more likely to deliver on these promises?
Think carefully when voting. This is a crucial election the likes of which, we Americans have ever witnessed. Pray and ask that our beloved America be divinely protected.
