The Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah says the victory in Aleppo was the result of sacrifices made by Syrian people and the army against terrorists who enjoyed great foreign support.
Nasrallah said the battle of Aleppo was not only against Syrian opposition groups but with militants from different countries. He described the liberation as one of the greatest achievements in the fight against terrorists. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said with the recapture of the flashpoint city, the goal of ousting the government in Syria has failed. The Hezbollah Secretary General noted that they have entered a new phase in the fight against terrorism in Syria. However, he said the liberation of Aleppo is not the end of the conflict in Syria. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah also slammed Turkey for supporting Daesh terrorists.
