Building A Panic Or Safe Room

In the photo is a panic or safe room that the door has not been installed on yet. Every house today should have a panic or safe room in case of bad storms, hurricanes, tornados or civil unrest. Be sure though that you have a plan to come out of that panic or safe room fighting. I have a escape tunnel in mine that goes down to the basement and allows me to go out and come back in.

Be sure that any panic or safe room will stand up to a tornado or heavy winds. You need battery powered lights or flashlights and other neccessary things in your panic or safe room. You want it well stocked and ready for what ever happens.
