VIDEO: A Great Example Of Being Prepared
You don’t have to be a prepper to be prepared. Every person possesses basic human survival instincts, so this should not come as a surprise. I don’t know anyone who will just allow themselves or loved ones to be harmed or placed in harms way.
This mother in Detroit did what most folks would do; protect her family. What really stands out in this incident was her ability to act quickly and decisively. Let’s watch the footage and you decide for yourself.

Now as we can see, there was just a matter of seconds before these fools would have gained entry into her home. Once they did, the woman was already prepared with her home defense weapon in hand. While common sense dictates that anyone trying to kick your door in is not there for a friendly visit. The kicking in of the door would make anyone in the home freeze like deer caught in the headlights. But this homeowner acted quickly.
The sad part is that we hear of these incidents occurring more often. With the economy taking a dump, more folks out of work due to a poor job market, crime will rise exponentially and law abiding citizens not just preppers, homesteaders, or survivalists will need to be prepared.
