You may not realize it but you can use a solar oven to cook really great meals with. You can easily build a solar oven with tin foil, plastic, and mirrors. Then if all the electricity goes off tomorrow you and your family can still cook great meals using the energy from the sun to bake with. Bread baked in solar ovens turns out wonderful.
You can easily make firelogs from sawdust, newspaper and cardboard. Make a mold or buy one and start to make a huge supply of fire logs in case you ever need them. Why not go ahead and practice cooking using the firelogs you have made. Think outside the box and come up with ideals of your own.
You may not realize it but you can heat water and cook with out having electricity. The average person would really panic if tomorrow the electricity went off and never came back on. Would you have any ideal of what to do. Most people would not.
