Tibro, Cologne (PRWEB) October 21, 2012

The Swedish design company Offecct presents its new collection of design furniture for 2012 at this year’s edition of the furniture fair ORGATEC in Cologne, Germany.

The theme of ORGATEC 2012 is “Moderne Arbeitswelten” where the focus lies on the flexibility of the dynamic working environments of the future, which fits well with Offecct’s solutions for active, innovative and creative meeting places. Offecct’s strong offer within sustainable design is also in tune with ORGATEC’s theme “Green Offices”.

Offecct’s collection for 2012 include products designed by designers such as Khodi Feiz, Richard Hutten, Läufer + Keichel, Patrick Norguet, Claesson Koivisto Rune, Ineke Hans, Mario Ruiz, Broberg & Ridderstråle and Louise Hederström.

Amongst the new products the sofa SMALLROOM, the chair COUPE as well as the easy chair MOMENT can be mentioned.

SMALLROOM is a sofa designed by Dutch designer Ineke Hans. SMALLROOM invites the user to pursue different activities and provides for spatial variation. The sofa facilitates the integration of plants in public spaces and can also be used as a workspace. SMALLROOM’s design creates room within a room and offers individuals and small groups a secluded place for meetings or work.

COUPE is a chair designed by the German design duo Läufer + Keichel. COUPE gives an illusion of being a chair wearing cloths, thanks to the specially developed knitting technology. The chair is completely upholstered and gives a soft and inviting impression. COUPE maintains a high level of sustainability thanks to its low resource consumption as well as the possibility to easily change the upholstery and the padding and thereby give it new life.

MOMENT is an easy chair designed by award winning designer Khodi Feiz, and supports different types of activities and clearly communicates its function to the user. The easy chair has been developed in order to invite the user to sit down for a moment – and take a break, work, or do something else. MOMENT fits just as well in the home as in the lounge area.
ORGATEC takes place from Tuesday 23rd to Saturday 27th of October, between 9am och 6pm. Offecct’s stand is in booth C030 in Hall 09.1.
