Prism Public Affairs today announced the appointment of Soren Dayton and Lyndsey Medsker as Senior Vice Presidents and Scott Douglass as Associate.

Soren Dayton is an experienced communications strategist who specializes in digital media and organizing campaigns. Prior to joining Prism, Soren counseled clients on public affairs issues at New Media Strategies and managed grassroots outreach and mobilization teams for both political and issue campaigns, including John McCain's campaign for president. He has advised an international NGO on coalition building in Washington. And he served as a legislative assistant for Rep. Nick Smith, working on technical committee investigative work. Soren began his career helping to found a small software start-up in Chicago.

Lyndsey Medsker has extensive experience designing comprehensive communications programs around high-stakes, high-profile issues. Prior to joining Prism, Lyndsey served as a senior account director at New Media Strategies, where she developed and led campaigns using the latest in digital and social media. Lyndsey previously worked at Dezenhall Resources, where she managed communication programs and provided litigation and crisis communications counsel; served as the communications manager at the League of Women Voters; and directed public relations for The McLaughlin Group.

Prism also announced the addition of Scott Douglass as Associate. Scott has extensive experience implementing issues-based and digital communications campaigns for clients in a range of industries. Prior to joining Prism, Douglass was an account executive at the Hawthorn Group, LC, where he worked on grassroots campaigns and communications issues for heavily regulated industries.
