In a World Sometimes Hostile To Hunting, Hunters Have Created Their Own Popular Social Platform For Legal, Ethical Hunting

Sheridan, WY — This week new social media network www.HornStar.Net is celebrating their Grand Opening with a major growth in membership as hunters worldwide join to discuss their favorite sports.
Created by lifelong hunters, HornStar.net welcomes men and women involved in hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. The platform lets hunters connect and network with like minded individuals. They easily share stories, photos, and videos in an atmosphere that accepts, appreciates, and promotes hunting.
HornStar became necessary after hunters were repeatedly excluded, blocked, and flagged on major social network sites. “Most social media sites are very sensitive to animal lovers who will not tolerate any form of hunting. It was impossible for legal, ethical hunters to have a discussion,” said Mike Sweeny, CMO/COO of Horn Star LLC. Sweeny started HornStar along with co-founders Nick Sweeny and Ty Julander.
On any given day members at HornStar.net are sharing, posting, following, and telling about their experiences as hunters, anglers, and outdoor adventurers. “We’ve got people discussing elk, deer, bear, mountain lion, shed hunting, and all other big game and predator hunting to fishing and camping, to your latest rock climb,” Nick Sweeny said.
Recently Facebook shut down a group focused on the selling and trading of firearms for hunting. HornStar welcomes those members with discussion areas designed specially for hunters who sell and trade.
Membership at HornStar.net is free, but applicants are screened before being allowed to participate. “We want to make sure everyone here is a law abiding, ethical hunter,” Julander said.
All states in the United States, as well as most nations, offer legal hunting and fishing, often with the goal of controlling animal populations to keep them healthy.
Members can upgrade to a paid membership to get exclusive content, access to exclusive deals, affiliate programs, drawings and giveaways of over 50,000 products and services.
Major brand names who offer hunting and camping tools, equipment, and supplies have flocked to HornStar.net as affiliates who help the site fund operations.
