New Ownership, New Name Announced for WPS Parking Solutions’ Parent Company

Glendale, CA – WPS Parking Solutions, a pioneer of intelligent barcode technology for parking solutions in North and South America, is pleased to announce its new ownership entity. Effective immediately, the company formerly known as IMTECH Traffic and Infra will move forward into the future of parking and technology under the name of Dynniq, with its home base located in the Netherlands.
Founded in 1985 as the first company to incorporate intelligent barcode technology with parking control systems, WPS Parking Solutions benefits from the new parent company’s robust portfolio of experienced and proven technology interests throughout the world. With established field offices in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. since 1997, WPS USA has a dealer network operating in 21 US Cities.
“We are positioning ourselves in three core markets: energy, mobility and parking,” explains Dynniq CEO, Cees de Wijs. “Our new name was derived from four powerful components: Dynamics, Technology, Innovation and Intelligence.” de Wijs goes on to validate that the WPS name is well-known throughout North and South America and, because of its strong history and exceptional track record, “the WPS name will not change.”
