In addition, he holds the positions of Chief at USN Hospital San Diego and Professor at UCSF Medical School. With over 33 years of experience, he specializes in therapeutic radiation oncology and testicular procedures.
Educated at University of Iowa, Dr. Schroeder completed an internship in Youngstown, OH and a fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiation Oncology, received an award from the U.S. Air Force for Preparation of Resident Board Exam Training Guide, and is an active member of the American College of Radiology, American Society for Radiation Oncology, and the American Radium Society.
Dr. Schroeder attributes his success to trying to like everyone, trying to be liked, and staying current with research. When not teaching or assisting patients, he enjoys traveling, golf, and gardening.
