The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Marian Arnold Israel, CCC-SLP to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Marian is a retired speech pathologist in Florida. With a career spanning 55 years, she specializes in stroke victims, aphasia, dysphasia, rehab facilities, and public schools, having spent six years working in public schools.
Marian was educated at University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a master’s degree at Brooklyn College. She is a professional member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds the distinction of being the first person to ever carry the Portable Hearing Test Machine to a foreign country.
Marian attributes her success to education and to Robert West, who is the founder of the field of speech pathology and with whom she had the pleasure of working. In her retirement, she enjoys reading, entertaining, and piloting small aircraft.
