Dr. Flynn then remained in Saint Louis for his internship, before taking residencies at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Prior to founding the very first Cancer Treatment Centers of America Radiation Oncology Department he taught radiology and radiation oncology for many years, training some of the leading names in this field today.
Dr. Flynn has an international reputation as an expert radiation oncologist, and in 1997 he became a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
