James P. Flynn, MD, FACR, radiation oncologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and affiliated with Southwestern Regional Medical Center, has been named a 2016 Top Doctor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. James P. Flynn is a hugely experienced oncologist, having been in practice for more than half a century. His life in medicine began in 1961, when he graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Flynn then remained in Saint Louis for his internship, before taking residencies at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
With more than five decades of experience and expertise to call upon, and board certified in Radiology, Dr. Flynn remains a radiation oncologist in high demand. Prior to founding the very first Cancer Treatment Centers of America Radiation Oncology Department he taught radiology and radiation oncology for many years, training some of the leading names in this field today.
Dr. Flynn has an international reputation as an expert radiation oncologist, and in 1997 he became a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. This lifelong commitment to creating an environment of hope and healing for cancer patients makes Dr. James P. Flynn a very worthy winner of a 2016 Top Doctor Award.
