As we reported here before, there is not only a strong cohersion between the recent solar activity and the intensity of natural events on earth such as the energy released during earth quakes which seems to be peaking each time a significant solar flare appears. The needs ‘coincidence’ to analyse is the relation between those solar flares and what the Maya have predicted long time ago. So far that doesn’t seem to be merely a coincidence.
Expected Strength Solar Cycles According to Maya Calculations
Will we see a complex eruption or large flare in October 2011?

Watch the following video on Strength Solar Cycles 20 Dec 2012 (Armageddon):
We will presume that the dates that you are presenting are derived from the work of Patrick Geryl. I am not sure where you got the idea that those were dates chosen by ‘the Mayans’. If you read Geryl’s web page http://www.howtosurvive2012.com/htm_night/home.htm you will see him refer to an event on Nov 4, 2003. If you look at this webpage http://www.nasca.org.uk/Strange_Maps/solar/Solar_Flare/solar_flare.html you will see that event was the biggest flare explosion ever recorded, which was rated at X-28.
If you look at the planets for that date, you will see that Mercury was just about to enter Sagittarius as seen from the sun. Mercury has an 88 day period, that is it enters Sagittarius every 88 days. Geryl’s thesis depends on an 88 day cycle, but if you count, you will see that the dates above are 87 days apart. As Mercury orbits the sun four times a year that count looses 4 days a year.
Mercury does not enter Sagittarius until 12/28/2012. To be aligned with the 88 day entrance of Merc into Sag all of the above dates need to be adjusted. I have posted a video about that:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbUuYq6nMQk Patrick Geryl’s 88 Day Solar Cycle Theory
The October 2011 dates is the 15th and not the 11th. The interesting thing about that is that both Mercury and Venus enter Sag on the same day.
If you look you can find that the sun is traveling through space toward Alpha Herculi which has a celestial longitude of 15 Sag, which means that when Merc (or any planet) is in Sag, it is ahead of the sun in its orbit, and when it is in Gemini, it is behind the sun.
