THE MAIN THING IS TO KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING
CHRISTIANS WOULD RATHER HEAR ABOUT ANTICHRIST THAN THE LORD???
I wrote an article about the coming world leader. I subtitled it with “it’s not what you think”. It was about the worthiness of the Lord Jesus to be the King of this world and all creation. I had Christians comment that they were disappointed because the title made them think it was about the Antichrist. They were disappointed that the article was about the Lord Jesus and not about Antichrist.
The most popular articles in Christian circles today are about UFOs, nephilim, ghosts, new world order, secret societies, etc. These subjects are interesting and have their place but they are not the main thing.
The main thing is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I have had one dream where I saw the Lord in my dream. I have had dreams of praying, preaching, witnessing, and about angels but only one dream where I saw the Lord. He looked like the picture above but in my dream His face was veiled in light. I bowed before Him and I was going to tell Him that I knew I was a sinner and that I was willing to agree with Him about anything He might accuse me of. I was willing to confess that He would be right. Before I could say anything He motioned with His hand as if to say that there was no need for that, I was welcome to come in.
We dream about things that are a real part of our life: our jobs, our friends, our family etc. I think dreams about the Lord are rare because He is not preeminent in our lives.
NOT JUST PROMINENT BUT PREEMINENT
You want to know why I am writing this? I am writing this because I do not think I love Him and appreciate Him enough. I do not think any of us do. I want to love Him with all my heart. I wish my heart would allow me to love Him enough. All I can do is pray and seek to love Him enough.
I want to love him like the woman in this picture. When I finally get to see Him I want to kiss his precious feet and wash them with tears of thankfulness.
1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
