The ability to surreptitiously offer some customers better treatment — and to link their faces and names with biographical profiles — is among the issues that technology industry experts and consumer advocates are likely to confront on Thursday, when they meet in Washington to discuss facial recognition. I really don’t like the idea of stealth investigation on me when I’m running in for more socks or while on a milk run,n ot even when getting more dog food. I don’t like my picture taken as it is, something like this horrifies me and we aren’t even touching the privacy issues here yet!
