People keep trying to count the stars in the sky and the number becomes greater and greater. No one to date has ever been able to accurately count the number of the stars.

There is a reason why God makes sure all the generations are listed as they are in Genesis chapter five. Not the only reason, but a reason many people may not even know about, and it has to do with the names!
These are the first ten generations, listed in order as they appear in the Bible. Adam means man. Seth means appointed. Enos means mortal. Cainnan means sorrow. Mahaalell means the blessed God. Jared means come down. Enoch means teacher, or teaching. Methesulah means his death will bring. Lamech means despair or despairing. And finally, Noah means rest.
If you take the above words, in order, and put them into a sentence, it reads: “Man is appointed mortal sorrow. The blessed God shall come down teaching. His death will bring the despairing rest.”

There are still people today that think the earth is flat. I have never seen proof that the The flat earth theory of the middle ages, a modern invention to glorify Columbus and his discoveries, was actually real. Every thing we are told is myth. Truth is forbidden.
Life itself is put in mythical terms…eg. life expectancy has risen from 36 to around 76 or whatever in the last 100 years. Any visit to a hundred year old cemetery will dispel that myth. A subsequent visit to a modern cemetery will quickly reveal the average lifespan is less today than 100 years ago.
The modern calendar and 24 hour day was in use in Columbus’ time and is based on the revolution (as in round) of the earth around itself and the sun, the seasons related to this also was well known..even the leap year was accounted for. Proof positive only an idiot would have thought the earth was flat even in Columbus’ time.

Actually, the word used can mean sphere. But anyway, a sphere from space looks like a circle does it not?
I think its safe to say a sphere looks like a circle from any angle and only a sphere when you enter another angle at the same time into the equation…the eyes are not far enough apart to create this second angle enough to be visible as a sphere on a planetary scale
well a circle is not necessarily a sphere, from an above vantage point it would be hard to tell if a shpere is a flat circle or not……just sayin.
I believe ( I’ve not checked, so a project for someone ? ) that the word for circle in Hebrew would be better translated as sphere. Even Aristarchus, who in the 2nd C BC, measured the circumference of the world to within an extremely close order of magnitude, knew that the earth was spherical. Those Greeks, and all who went before them, were a lot smarter than your average fluoride and pesticide-soaked History Channel-watching punter of today.

The best theory I have seen about the Flood is that described at the Center for Creation Science website by Dr Walt Brown. He goes into a LOT of intricate and extremely compelling detail.
The essential idea, which he proves with reference to the latest geological science, is that there was, and still is to a lesser degree, a water layer ten miles beneath earth’s surface. Today it is known as the Moho Discontinuity. Thus at the time of Noah, the earth stood in this layer of water, ( “in the water” ) upon an infinitude of pillars; the extremely hot and mineral-soaked water being sealed off from the surface by the plasticity of the rock at such depths. It was the rupturing of this layer ( triggered by sin, of course ) that enabled the fountains of the deep to escape to the earth’s surface, with catastrophic consequences for anyone who had not had the foresight to get into a large boat prior to the event, but who were more concerned about marrying and feasting.
Incidentally, the still-visible Mid Ocean Ridges are the scar left behind by this rupturing event, and it has nothing to do with the highly implausible theory of continental drift, which we have all been forced to swallow, along with Darwinism, heliocentricity, etc.

And YHVH, of course, reads “Behold the Hand, Behold the Nail”.
Thus the Lord Jesus Christ is the incarnation of this same YHVH.

I’ve noticed other verses taking about the north like in Jeremiah 1:14, “out of the north, an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land” and in Isaiah 41:5 “I have stirred up one from the north, and he shall come, from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon mortar, and as the potter treads clay.” The one from the north can be Christ returning to shake the earth, level every mountain and fill every valley in the last days.
In particular, the meaning of the names of the patriarchs to Noah prophesying Christ is really something.

Also had a couple dreams about the journey to heaven this past week. One I was in a go cart type single driver car. The car was going up a mountain road by itself without fuel — all I had to do was believe. And another car with another driver was close by also making the journey. I also found I needed to kind of push and pull isometrically as if working out my own salvation.
In the other dream, I drive a car arriving at the top of a mountain complex. In the distance were some great buildings. The cars were parked two by two on the road and left there like you would leave for the valet, and I thought I should just park on the right side so later the other cars could get out more easily. But there wasn’t much room before the road began sloping down again. And I realized after waking up that there won’t be a need to leave again after arriving.

Whilst I don’t believe in God, I’ve always believed that the Bible is book of messages and information. I don’t believe many of the stories within the Bible, but I DO understand many of the messages, instructions and guidelines for living that they contain. OK Lyn you need to learn a little historical fact here. Christopher Columbus never said the Earth was flat & NEVER made his voyage to prove that it was round! The Church never taught that the earth was flat! Sailors for several hundred years before Columbus knew that the earth was round. The ancient Greeks knew the earth was round as well as the Romans. Columbus was a navigator & knew this as well! This flat earth myth was started by a man who wrote fiction & his name was Washington Irving & you will not find one writing about Columbus and this flat earth myth before Irving’s book “The Life And Voyages Of Christopher Columbus” which is a work of FICTION! What Columbus was trying to show was that it is possible to sail from Spain to Asia, which he hoped would be a shorter route than the Silk Road. What he did not know was that the Americas were in-between & that the earth was far bigger than they thought!

First of all, Christopher Columbus didn’t “discover” that the Earth was round. The ancient Greeks new that long before Columbus’ civilization was at foot. The Greeks new that the Earth was spherical/round due to several reasons. First, they could look up into the heavens to see that both the sun and the moon were round. However, even more importantly, you could see the mast of a ship at sail out in the sea, long before you could see the hull. This lead the ancient Greek philosophers to surmise that the Earth was a spherical. True, some ignorant people, around the time of Christopher Columbus, did, in fact, believe that the Earth was flat, but it was, by no means, an accepted truth. Anyone who was well-read, educated or who had half a brain, knew that the Earth was round.

I wish people born into a belief would stop talking about circumcision as if it was no different than getting one’s hair cut. It is barbaric and there is no medical reason for it to continue. The penis is an inside organ, actually. Yes it is outside but it is supposed to be fully protected. When skin is cut off it removes that natural protection. It is extremely painful for a baby to have this done. Think about it. There is a great deal of information on the internet about the disadvantages of circumcision.

Our sons and daughters are going to war and are dying for OIL. The world revolves around Greed. It all went wrong when the CIA murdered President Kennedy. Why haven’t they impeached Obama, he is destroying the USA, and we are sitting on our hands helping him. When have you EVER heard of a son or daughter of Politicians going to war
, dying for their Country? NOT ONE!!
There is a higher power and if we would just listen to what it is telling us, we may survive but sadly I think it is too late. We have all been lead down the Rabbit Hole.
