There is ONLY ONE WAY, and that is through Jesus Christ. Please accept Christ into your heart and repent of your sins. Admit that your are a sinner and do everything you have within yourself to turn away from those sins. Jesus will not let you go once you give yourself to him. He sacrificed himself for ALL of us. Of course its not always easy because we battle not against flesh and blood but against principalities. Accecpt the way of the light, grow your faith in Christ, stand in your faith. Natural disasters happen. The Northridge quake of 1994 was a major event, guess what people just kept building in the area and not caring if it would happen again. It also didn’t end the world.
We as a species could better prepare to minimize damage and loss but do we? No. So maybe one day when something really really bad happens we will learn our lesson.

We all must have a stable frame of reference. What is normal to you is what is real to you.

Exactly, back at the turn of the previous millenium 1’000 CE, lots of idiots sold everything they owned, gave the proceeds to the poor, as per Jesus’s essential criteria for entry into heaven, at the last minute, moved to Jerusalem fully expecting to be saved from the apocalypse that never happened.

We are saved according to our faith, not works. Lest any man should boast. No sacraments needed. Only spiritual sacrifices unto the LORD our God, placing Him and His Truth first, and always first. Loving Him with all our heart, and delighting in His way, even though our righteousness is as filthy rags, we are saved by His love and foresight for His inheritance, which is only the 12 tribes of Israel, that people are our LORDs wife, who as we see suffer tribulation, and shall also die hated, just as He died for us. All we can do is pray the LORD does not remain angry forever with His people, and that He remember the iniquity of the lawless ones, and remember His covenants, and promises to lowly and trodden down Jacob. Even though we backslide, He will not forget us, a mother may forget her suckling babe, but He will NEVER forget us. Praise HIS HOLY NAME, LORD GOD OF HEAVEN!
