Turkey Dries the Euphrates: A Civilization That INSISTS On Suicide

With the recent news that Turkey has halted the flow of water in the Euphrates River, threatening Syria (and Iraq?) with a major water crisis; see:
there are, of course, numerous comments on any number of Internet discussion groups that this is, in fact, a specific fulfillment of the Prophecy in Chapter 16, verse 12 of the Revelation of John.
Yes and no.
The Revelation of John is to be understood, first and foremost, esoterically.
Thus, the passages referring to the ‘drying of the Great River Euphrates so that a way was made for the kings of the East to enter in’ has both a psychological and a Doctrinal significance prior to any interpretations (originating in the “beast of the sea” consciousness of the “self” and/or the “beast of the earth” consciousness of the ‘thinker’) that this is, specifically, a military event which occurs in the space-time reality.
Psychologically, this is a reference to the annihilation of the “beast of the sea”, dualistic consciousness of the “self” and the “beast of the earth” dualistic consciousness of the ‘thinker’ which precedes both the Vision of the “Son of man” and the Revelation of “the resurrection”; the “kings of the East” referring, first and foremost, to the revelation of the memories of previous lives (in other words, this is merely another figurative term similar to the “angels in heaven”, used by Jesus in his reply to the Sadducees to describe the revelation of the memories of previous lives); and, secondarily, to the Doctrine of ‘Rebirth’ taught by the founders (the “kings of the East”) of the Eastern religions and philosophies; all of which are based upon the receiving of the memories of previous lives, which incontrovertibly demonstrate the existence of a third dimension of consciousness beyond the “self” and the ‘thinker’.
This, of course, is NOT, however, what is desired by the “false prophet” Christian religious ‘authorities’ (or, for that matter, by the “false prophet” Jewish and Muslim religious ‘authorities’ either).
They would MUCH rather that this is a (self-fulfilling) ‘Prophecy’ of a military event which results in the annihilation or the near-annihilation of human civilization itself, rather than to acknowledge that they are also in error about the “kings of the East” referring to the revelation of the memories of previous lives…
Thus, fulfilling the Prophecy in Chapter 16, verse 13 of the Revelation of John that they are one of the three agents—the other agents being the “dragon”-media and “the beast” politicians—that brings about the manifestation of a large-scale military confrontation in the space-time reality; which is merely the externalization of the conflict that first occurs at the level of consciousness between the dualistic consciousness and the non-dualistic consciousness Created ‘by and in the image of God’ as conveyed by the Vision of the “Son of man” and the Revelation of “the resurrection”.
[And, of course, esoterically, the “dragon” refers to the origin of the duality; “the beast” (“of the sea”) refers to the consciousness of the “self”; and the “false prophet” refers to the consciousness of the ‘thinker’—symbolized as the “beast of the earth” in Chapter 13, verse 11 of the Revelation of John as well as Sura 27, verse 82 of the Quran.]
