The ‘Leaven’ of the Pharisees… And “Synagogue of Satan” Anti-Semitism

(Before It's News)

I have encountered the term “synagogue of Satan” in probably dozens of the writings of the (often anti-Zionist) Christian religious ‘authorities’ and their followers. And, in every instance, that term has been used in such a way as to be considered synonymous with “Jewish” or “the Jews”…
Meaning that, in every instance, that term has had a meaning which is fundamentally and irredeemably anti-Semitic (although, of course, not even the ADL is interested in this kind of anti-Semitism).

On the contrary, the term “synagogue of Satan” has a specifically and exclusively doctrinal meaning.

Meaning that it refers exclusively to a specific doctrine held to by the Pharisees, a doctrine referred to by Jesus as the ‘leaven’ of the Pharisees.

That doctrine being the ‘god of the dead’ doctrine of the physical raising of a dead body from the grave.

Meaning that those who belong to the “synagogue of Satan” are any Jews, Christians or Muslims who believe in the doctrine of such a physical resurrection.

Meaning that there are hundreds of millions of people who belong to the “synagogue of Satan”.

Meaning that the term “synagogue of Satan” does NOT refer to “the Jews”.

  • Those who say they are Jews, but are not, are many. There are “many” w ho are “of the spirit of antichrist”, i.e., those who oppose the “doctrine of Christ”. Not all Jews, believe in the teachings of those involved in “Judaism”, which was what Christ spoke out against in their “Synagogues”. The Jews of Judah, Jerusalem, and Alexandria, the Phaisees and the Sadducees, did not practice or preach the “doctine of Christ”. Even after Christ was crucified by them, and the pagan Romans, many of them did not acknowledge Jesus for who he really was. It they knew who he really was, then they would have believed him, but Christ’s words found no place in them, just as they find no place in them today. Christ said of them, “…you are of your father, the devil…”, and they were later called members of the “synagogue of Satan”.

You are merely muddying the waters here.

      It is a DOCTRINAL issue.

It has a SPECIFIC rather than a GENERAL meaning.

      PERIOD.

The interpretation of the term “synagogue of Satan” is a LITMUS test as to whether you understand the Teaching of Jesus or not.

There are only two POSSIBLE meanings and there is NO “middle ground” or “lukewarm” position.

It refers either to: 1) “the Jews”, or 2) the DOCTRINE of the Pharisees that was opposed by Jesus and his followers. (The Sadducees did not really have any doctrines, per se; that is, they DENIED “the resurrection” but they did not replace it with any other doctrine or interpretation, as did the Pharisees)

How does Jack VanImpe or Lynn Leahz interpret this phrase?

Either they understand the Truth, or they do NOT.

They either know the Truth about what this term means; or they substitute for that Truth an anti-Semitic interpretation of this term…

As reinforced by Jesus in the Message to the Seventh Church in the Revelation of John.

      • I disagree – i think it is you who are muddying the water- by adding “anti semitism’
        into the mix.
There is a book called “Synagogue of Satan”- which is essentially about the Rothschilds and how they have come to have control over the world , (=evil plan=’satanic”)
So the Synagogue of Satan can be taken to refer, collectively, to all those involved in this (NWO) agenda . It happens to be Zionist jews , but that does not make it “anti semitic” – see? ( it’s not christians, or muslims orchestrating the NWO)

The Revelation of John was written almost 1900 years ago, at which time it included, twice, the term “synagogue of Satan”.

John was not stupid. He was well-aware of the fact that Jesus had been eliminated for teaching the Doctrine of “the resurrection” as a Doctrine of ‘Rebirth’.

Jerusalem had, by that time, been destroyed by the Romans; thus eliminating the Sadducees, who were the principal enemies of Jesus. That left the Pharisees, who continued to teach the same ‘god of the dead’ doctrine that Jesus was murdered for contradicting. That is why those believing in that doctrine were referred to as the “synagogue of Satan”.

If, 1900 years later, someone wants to write a book about a Satanic economic-political system, in which he uses the term “synagogue of Satan” as a descriptor, he is well within his rights. But that does NOT mean that that meaning—which, after all, was not based upon any Revelation of Knowledge—is what JOHN meant when he wrote that term. The Revelation of John is a description of the Revelation of Knowledge echoing the Teaching of Jesus.

In other words, it makes no DIFFERENCE whether you disagree with what John meant by the term “synagogue of Satan”; nor does it make any difference if you choose to believe ANOTHER interpretation of that term; which originates, however, in the “beast of the earth” consciousness of the ‘thinker’.

Christian theology’s disinterpretation of the Doctrine of “the resurrection” is the very source of Christian anti-Semitism; something which, of course, no Christian is willing to acknowledge because that would result in the collapse of Christian theology in its entirety.

As I understand it, there are two principal functions of demons in the modern world: 1) the elimination of the Truth about the Doctrine of “the resurrection”; and, 2) the extermination of the vast majority of people on this planet. And these two functions are intimately inter-related.

Muddying the waters by introducing yet another consciousness of the ‘thinker’-based interpretation of the term “synagogue of Satan” is taking sides with the Sons of Darkness against the Sons of Light.

You, sindarella, are living in a fantasy world in which you actually believe that if you do not believe the Truth, that disbelief transforms that Truth into falsehood.

      It is NOT that fragile.

      Believe me.

  • 90% of Jews are Khazars and reminders from Berbers of North Africa or Arabs, not one of those self styled Jews from Hebrew tribe.

      Merely another distraction.

Focus on the issue of Truth.

It is lies that are the source of the current horrors in the Middle East.

Those lies must be confronted with the Truth, not superficial distractions.

      I did NOT say “damned”.

Instead, they believe in an erroneous interpretation of the Revelation of “the resurrection”.

And the widespread belief in that lie is resulting in massacres of Muslims, Christians and Jews across the Middle East.

      Michael

  • The Israeli army confirmed that up to 130 Palestinian civilians were slaughtered in Rafah last Friday following the triggering of the Hannibal protocol – an IDF directive that is designed to thwart the capture of Israeli combatants. Israel unleashed its full firepower and flattened an entire neighbourhood using tanks, artillery and gunships murdering130 Palestinians just to make sure that one Israeli soldier, Lt. Hadar Goldin didn’t fall into Hamas’ hands alive.
The only interpretation of this massacre is that Israel is a homicidal state completely immune to international conventions and without any respect for civilian lives.
In the light of the actions taken by the Jewish State in the last few days and the overwhelming support for Israel from Jews around the world, it is evident that we are witnessing a clash of civilizations. Humanity is faced with a savage tribe that shows a complete absence of empathy yet for some peculiar reason believes itself to be chosen.
For the sake of world peace, humanity has to use whatever resources it has to dismantle the Jewish State and its lobby.
    Enough is enough.

    • Having as a goal the destruction of all the worlds peoples and countries and their unification under either a calliphate or non-Jewish melting pot and believing anything less is just not apocalyptic enough is only ‘a plan’ to the insane.

      Of course. Of course.

But are the psychopaths of ISIS/ISIL or the Islamic State and BETTER?

Are the Christians who exterminated how many hundreds of thousand of Iraqis through sanctions and violence any BETTER?

Israel is a manifestation of evil; as is the Islamic State.

      No doubt about it.

But the issue is MUCH larger, originating in the LIES of all THREE monotheistic religions which stand in arrogant repudiation, denial and contradiction of the Revelations received by Moses, Isaiah, Daniel, Jesus and Mohammed.

“But the issue is MUCH larger, originating in the LIES of all THREE monotheistic religions which stand in arrogant repudiation, denial and contradiction of the Revelations received by Moses, Isaiah, Daniel, Jesus and Mohammed.”

Or just plain denial/lack of empathy for their relatives… the haters are going to hate, don’t see their hate as hate but justified on the basis of their massaged ego ‘special status’ that organised religions dish out like candy. They are damaged goods, psychotic, narcissistic schizophrenics to match their invented narcissistic schizophrenic deity.

  • Pix

That’s because organised religions are state enforced thought and belief intolerant propaganda organisations, invented and state enforced before the days of news papers, radio and tv by various state dictators.

All politics vilifies the opposition, they all slander each other as a distraction tactic from their own shortcomings and failures. Thus insuring the great unwashed continue to be property of their lords and masters, keep paying their taxes like good little slaves of the state and to not mind the rabble rousing in times or war (all the time) so you can earn your lords and masters vast amounts of profit at your expense.

It has nothing to do with spirituality and everything to do with politics, controlling the population to do your bidding.

As for anti-semitism, it means anti-arabic the language, not anti-jew. The jews are not Arabs, they do not speak arabic. Judaism is an invented post 70 CE religion via the political party, the Pharisees, not an ethnic people.
