Like the 5 blind men examining an elephant, each with a different report, truth is multi-faceted and by keeping an open mind like the Bereans to inputs from others and comparing with Scripture, we can get a broader picture than we might have by ourselves in the Word. In the 1st trumpet of Revelation 8:7, “all green grass was burnt up” and James 1:9-11 decodes this to be the economy, because “as the flower of the grass, so shall the rich man fade.” (King James Bible)
Before that, there will be a huge earthquake (verse 5) encoded as a “lion’s roar” as seen in Rev 10:3 before the 7 thunders. But Christ is the Lion of Judah and (Rev 5:5) and when He roars, “the heavens and earth shall shake,” Joel 3:16.
