(Before It's News)
This the the reality of the situation:
The rhetoric of the anti-Zionist Jews against the Zionist Jews, and the Zionist Jews against the anti-Zionist Jews is intensifying.
As the violence between Palestinians and Israelis, between Jews and Arabs, escalates…
And as the media officials, the politicians and diplomats, and the religious ‘authorities’ alternately—or, more accurately, schizophrenically—throw gasoline on the fire, and call for ‘calm’, a ‘reduction of violence’, and a maintaining of the “status quo”.
But the “status quo” is intrinsically and irredeemably violent.
‘Calm’ is not Peace.
And merely a ‘reduction in violence’ does not address the root cause of these conflicts, which is to be found in theology:
The efforts of the ‘inter-faith dialogue’ religionists notwithstanding, for reasons already explained:
the three monotheistic religions are fundamentally divisive; those divisions being not only a specific contradiction and violation of the Revelations in the Quran:
Each Jewish, Christian and Muslim believer believes that his or her particular religion or theology is the Truth; that adhering to that religion and those beliefs would result in universal Peace on earth; and that those who do not believe what they believe are not only either stupid, or evil, or both; but, also, enemies of Peace.
This is not cynicism; this is merely a definition of what religious belief consists of.
But it is this very definition of religion, in and of itself, which establishes both the motivation and the ‘justification’ for dehumanizing the “other”, for projecting evil upon the “other”, and for inflicting violence upon the “other” for any number of religious and/or political ‘reasons’.
Thus, anyone who is capable of merely observing this situation—anyone who has not been consumed with the illusion of what their religion is supposed to be—should be able to see that it is these religious divisions themselves which are the cause of the violence.
It is these religious divisions themselves which are the cause of the violence.
Thus, what is necessary here is that these religionists merely observe the reality of the situation.
And, once the reality of this conflict can merely be observed—as J. Krishnamurti emphasized so often—the solution to this conflict will be observed simultaneously.
Thoughts—for example, religious doctrines—become, at that point, irrelevant and an obstacle to the attaining of Peace.

This civilization has spent TRILLIONS of dollars on the doctrines of the monotheistic religious ‘authorities’; doctrines which, then, have resulted in the blood-sacrifice of at least MILLIONS of human lives. If these doctrines CANNOT bring Peace to Jerusalem—as is OBVIOUSLY the case—this civilization should demand a REFUND of its TRILLIONS of dollars.
Or, how ’bout this?:
Either the violence in Jerusalem STOPS, or this civilization does NOT give the monotheistic religious ‘authorities’ even so much as ONE red cent MORE.
Michael
Interesting point, these doctrines have not brought peace, perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate…
